P5 Water Explorers Florencecourt

The Primary Five Class had a wonderful day discovering the importance of water. They took a tour of the grounds of Florencecourt where they were treated to a display of the sawmill in action, powered by water. They learned valuable lessons about sustainability and renewable energy. After this they conducted a habitat study in the river and from classifying and identifying the water creatures they realised the importance of having clean, fresh water for eco systems to survive.
