There is both a Special Needs Co-ordianator (SENCO) and a Learning Support Teacher in the school. All teachers account for special needs within their classes in terms of differentiation of class work and work closely with the SENCO and learning support teacher. However, the staff regularly review a child’s progress, and if it is felt that the child’s performance level falls below their ability level, the child may be withdrawn for learning support with the permission of their parents.
