School Council

Each year, every class from P4 to P7 elect 2 representatives to be members of the School Council.

A good school council is one that represents the views of all the children and gets things done which improve our school.

Our school council members are the voice of each class council. They help in raising awareness of issues that directly affect them such as playground activities, fundraising ideas, Anti-Bullying Week and our Annual Talent Show.

The school council meets with Mrs O'Connor fortnightly and they feedback to their classes following that meeting.

In St. Patrick's we recognise that a School Council should aim to foster an attitude of responsibility, improve behaviour, give hands-on experiences of PDMU and CRED issues and create a feeling of belonging and develop self-confidence.
