Happy New Year

We would like to wish you and your family a happy new year.

Milk

As you are aware, those who paid for milk during the last academic year had their money brought forward to pay for their child’s milk from September – December this year.  Everyone is now at the same stage.  The total cost of the milk from January – June is £26 per child.  This can be split into 2 payments of £13 each, the first of which is due on Monday 17th January with the second due after Easter.

Please click on the link below for the Microsoft Form to let us know if your child will be taking milk this term. We ask that everyone completes this form, even if their child took milk last term.  Milk will recommence on Monday 17th January when we have all our numbers returned.

Panto

We were all disappointed that we were unable to go to the Panto this year.  The Grand Opera House have been very good in allowing us to carry over the payments that were already made for this year’s show to next years.  As our current Primary 7 children will not be with us, we will be returning the money paid for them and keeping all those in P3-p6 for next years.  Next year’s Panto has been booked for 12th January 2023.

Swimming

The Primary 6 and 7 children will participate in the swimming programme in the Lakeland Forum every Tuesday from 11th January until 3rd May.  The Primary 7 children will leave the school at approximately 9:30 and the Primary 6 children will leave the school at 12:30pm.  They will have their lunch/dinner before they leave. Children are asked to wear a mask on the bus.

Christmas DVD

Thank you to all those who purchased Christmas DVDs.  We still have some left so if you would like one please send a note or contact the school.  They are £10 each.

School Dinners

There is a new dinner menu which is up on the school website.  The school received the new menu on Monday but if you have already send in dinner money for this week and would to change days, please let us know and we will be able to amend the registers.

School dinners remain at £2.60 each.  As always, please send in dinner money on a Monday for the week ahead.  Please send in an envelope for EACH child, with the exception of twins stating what days your child will be having dinner.  It is preferable that dinner money is paid for the month if you know what days your child will be taking dinners.

PE

CORE NI will be coming into the school to work with our Key Stage 1 children on Wednesdays.  They are also planning an afterschool’s club which will also take place on a Wednesday.  We will be in touch with you all shortly with more information.

Joanne Doonan from Fermanagh GAA will not be with us this term but we are hopeful that she will return to us before the end of the year.
