Connecting Classrooms Nepal

Over mid term Mrs Mc Vitty travelled with a group of teachers from across Northern Ireland as part of the British Council Connecting Classrooms Programme. Through this programme our school is connected with a partner school KK International School Dharan. Our project focuses on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, Goal 4: Quality Education and Goal 6:Clean Water and Sanitation, in particular using coding as a vehicle.

Mrs McVitty was treated to an amazing, warm welcome of cultural dance, singing and music. We thank Mr Victor Joseph,Bijay Singthebe (co ordinator) and his teachers for their hospitality. We are pleased to present their school with a mini Sphero and mat with our videos embedded. 
We look forward to completion of the project in which our pupils will exchange ideas and stem based activities via Google Classrooms.
