A Wonderful Celebration of Learning at Our School Science Fair during National Science Week.
23rd Mar 2026
Our recent School Science Fair was a tremendous success, filling the hall with curiosity, creativity, and excited conversation as P.5, P.6 and P.7 pupils proudly shared their scientific discoveries. The event brought together children from across the school, along with teachers, families, and fellow pupils, all eager to explore the impressive range of projects on display.
Throughout the afternoons, visitors moved from stand to stand, learning about everything from mini–volcano demonstrations and lemon-powered inventions to experiments on friction, magnetism, air, water and imaginative engineering designs. Each project reflected the children’s hard work, teamwork, and growing confidence as young scientists.
One of the highlights of the fair was the way pupils explained their ideas. They spoke clearly about their investigation methods, shared what they had learned, and answered questions from visitors with enthusiasm. For many children, presenting to a real audience of adults and peers was a proud moment—and they rose to the challenge brilliantly.
Teachers and parents alike were impressed not only by the quality of the projects but also by the excitement and engagement shown by every child involved. Events like this remind us how powerful hands on learning can be, helping pupils develop curiosity, problem solving skills, and a love for exploring the world around them. We are incredibly proud of all our young scientists for their creativity, dedication, and courage in presenting their work. A huge thank you as well to the staff and families who supported the event and helped make the day such a joyful celebration of learning.
We look forward to seeing what amazing ideas our pupils will bring to next year’s Science Fair!
Well Done to all of you in P.5, P.6 and P.7
