“A Kite for Aibhin” Seamus Heaney Home Place

P.5 had an inspiring trip to the Seamus Heaney Home Place today where they explored the poem “ A Kite For Aibhin.” They discovered similes and metaphors while they investigated how Heaney compared a kite flying to his granddaughter Aibhin. We all thoroughly enjoyed the accompanying kite making workshop.
